One hundred years after Brown’s birth, “Perspectives on Earle Brown at 100” celebrates and examines Brown’s contributions by juxtaposing artistic and scholarly perspectives on his work and legacy. This one-day event on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT will feature performances of rarely-heard works, scholarly presentations, a performance practice roundtable, a gallery exhibition, and an electronic music concert with octophonic sound.
